‘State of Sutter County’ topic at Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting

County Administrator Scott Mitnick discussed the top ten priorities of the Board of Supervisors at the annual Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce “State of the Counties” breakfast at Peach Tree Golf and Country Club.

Sutter County Administrator Scott Mitnick and Yuba County Administrator Robert Bendorf this morning presented “The State of the Counties,” an annual discussion at a Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting. The gathering was at Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Linda.

Mr. Mitnick discussed the Board of Supervisors’ top ten priorities for 2017-2018, which are: developing an Organization Strategic Plan; developing a Homeless Management Plan; completing a County Facilities Master Plan; ensuring compliance with the Sutter Pointe Specific Plan; conducting a thorough review of, and making potential changes to, its Marijuana Cultivation Ordinance; submitting a proposal to prepare a long-term Financial Strategic Plan; addressing truck stop and related land use issues; working on Countywide levee improvement projects; improving the County’s website and Social Media; and resolving land use issues at the Sutter County Airport.
